This allows for remote surveillance and easy archiving and storage of the video feed. ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS : A system that enables authorized personnel to control physical access to areas and resources in a given physical facility.

There are three factors of authentication:

• Something the user knows, e.g. a password, pass-phrase or pin code.
• Something the user has, such as smart card.
• Something the user is, such as fingerprint, verified by biometric measurement. Modern access control systems have readers that incorporate all three methods of authentication.
